~~Adz:Left~~St. Thomas, USVI- GUN violence continues to take the lives of young men in the US protectorate as another youth was shot to death in cold blood yesterday afternoon.

Dwayne ‘Gotti’ Lynch of Hospital Ground was reportedly executed by three or four men of a Latino persuasion in the area near his home sometime after 5 p.m.

According to reports reaching this media house, the 30-year-old man was seen driving his vehicle at top speed around the area trying to evade a white car that appeared to be following him. Unable to shake the pursuers on wheels, he exited his car and attempted to escape on foot, only to receive multiple gunshots about his body.

Unsubstantiated reports have it that a police trainee saw the gunmen and alerted police who have since reportedly taken three to four suspects into custody for the murder.

The men were allegedly apprehended in the area near the cemetery following a massive but brief police manhunt.

Authorities have released very little information about the most recent in a slew of gun related fatalities and were not able to comment on reports that a ‘deal gone bad’ was the motive behind the broad daylight slaying.
