BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – JUST 24 hours after the shooting death of Dale ‘Hot Boy’ Wattley, three men are currently nursing gunshot wounds at the Joseph N France Hospital.

According to Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Ian Queeley, the incident took place at about 9:00 p.m. today (June 1) in The Village at Union Street within the vicinity of a shop owned by Damien Weekes.

The ACP told this media house that the wounded men are Damien Weekes, Vernal Chumney and Dion Holloman.

Apart from the time and names of the shooting victims, he did not provide any other information but declared that the Police Press and Public Information Officer (PIO) was already fed with the details and that he should be contacted.

The PIO was contacted and he confirmed that the three men were shot, but he also did not provide additional information.

SKNVibes however learned that following the shooting of the three men, two armed men fled the scene running east along Union Street and entered the yard of a female resident in their bid to escape.

The resident, who was aroused by the sounds of gunfire, saw the men as they entered her yard and shouted, “Alyoh criminals…ah see alyoh.”

When questioned by the police on the identity of the men, the woman said they wore masks and she could not have identified either of them.

This media house also learned that two of the injured men drove themselves to the hospital for treatment to their wounds, while the third man was transported by ambulance.

More on this incident as information becomes available.
