BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – THE St. Kitts Bottling Co. Ltd. launched its ‘Nihao Beijing’ or ‘Hello Beijing’ Olympic promotion yesterday (July 29) where lucky persons can win a grand prize of a 42” Plasma TV or other collectable items.

During the ceremony held at their Buckley’s Site operations, Ancel Sookhai Chief Executive Officer at the institution said that the promotion is intended to generate more local interest in the outcome of the 100m Male Final which takes place on August 16th.

He expressed pride that Coca Cola was the longest continuous corporate partner of the Olympics, revealing that Coca Cola had already committed their sponsorship up to the 2020 games.

“Without our sponsorship 85% of the 200 National Olympics committees could

Keithley Phillip, Marketing Manager for St. Kitts Bottling Co. Ltd
not afford to send athletes to the games. I wish the St. Kitts Athletic Track & Field Team the very best of success in this venture,” Sookhai said.

Keithley Phillip, Marketing Manager for St. Kitts Bottling Co. Ltd explained the mechanics of the promotion saying that participants had only to send in six (6) Coca Cola Olympic St. Kitts labels and accompany them with the name and finishing time of who they think will win the Male 100m dash.

He said in the event of replica correct answers, the company would hold a draw to select the winner of the TV.

“What we are doing here in St. Kitts is creating that awareness that there’s a 100m event and if I know who wins it and the winning time, hey who knows I could win myself a 42” Plasma TV. And that is the interest that here at the Bottling Company we would want to create in this years’ Olympics.” ~~Adz:Left~~

In addition to the Plasma TV contest, Phillip informed of two sets of ‘premium prizes’ to be won: satchel bags and watches redeemable with 3 of the same labels and EC $15 for each item.

The cut-off point to submit entries for the grand prize is August 15 at 4:30 p.m., one day before the announcement of a winner; however persons will be able to redeem the bags and watches up until August 24th.
