BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - FORMER Priest Stanley B. Farier celebrated his 75th birthday with family and friends at a lovely reception held at the Manhattan Gardens in Old Road on Monday evening, July 28.

“It was beautiful, the food was great and we had a nice time,” he told SKNVibes.

Farier, who was born in St. Kitts, left the island in 1950 to pursue his studies in the United States and Europe.

His deceased parents also hailed from St. Kitts and he has three brothers in St. Kitts and one sister residing in Nevis.

Farier first began his ministry at the St. Lucy’s Church in St. Rochester, New York and also as a pastor at the Lady of the Garden’s Church in Chicago.

He has now retired from the ministry but still works for the government of Illinois, where he resides.

Farier and his wife Paula will be in St. Kitts for two weeks, and while taking in the beauty of the island they will also travel over to Nevis to visit his sister.
