BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – A Tabernacle resident is today counting his ‘lucky stars’ after the vehicle he was driving crashed into a building and he exited the wreckage unharmed.

Sometime after 10:00 on Monday evening, while in the Tabernacle area, SKNVibes met what appeared to be a white Nissan Sentra bearing the registration number P7316 lodged within the side of a small building knows at the “bus stop” in the vicinity of the railway.

Investigations by this media house revealed that at the time of the incident, the vehicle was driven by Wilbert Hutchinson.

Further investigations revealed that he was travelling westward along the island’s main road to collect his sister from her place of employment.

He reportedly lost power and slammed the building, which caused a considerable portion of structure to crumble while simultaneously damaging the vehicle.

Hutchinson exited the vehicle unscathed and the Police at the Tabernacle Police Station were called to the scene and had the wreckage removed.

    Investigations are ongoing.
