The 2012-2013 Executive Committee was elected at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) which was held on Saturday 18, August at the Chamber of Industry and Commerce Conference Room.

Among highlights of the past S.K.N.Y.P.A. year were its Appreciation Tea at which Nurses and Caretakers for the elderly were honoured, its position paper on Integrity in Public Life Legislation and the participation of some of its members as mentors for students at the Washington Archibald High School with the A Ganar program.

At the AGM, members of the Association also witnessed the induction of some of its longest serving members - Cindy DeSuza, Jihan Williams and Immediate Past President Jacqueline Bryan - as Alumni. Also inducted was Tapley Seaton Q.C., but as an Honourary Member of the Association as a result of his steady support over the years. The theme at the Annual General Meeting was "The Advancement of Youth Past the Initial Stage of Success" as the Association brings the celebration of its 10th anniversary to a close. S.K.N.Y.P.A. was launched on September 13, 2001.

Guest speaker at the AGM, Dr. Marcus Natta - Senior Project Analyst in the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Part-Time Lecturer at the Clarence Fiztory Bryant College - underscored the importance of members being actively involved in the operations of the Association to ensure its existence for another decade.
