BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, AUGUST 31ST 2012 (CUOPM) – The newly constructed annex to the Robert L. Bradshaw Social Security Building on Liverpool Row is to be officially opened mid-September.
The opening, set to coincide with events to mark the 29th Anniversary of St. Kitts and Nevis’ Independence, will take place on Tuesday 18th September, - two days after the 96th birthday of the Rt. Excellent Sir Robert L. Bradshaw, First National Hero and Father of Independence.
St. Kitts and Nevis’ Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas will deliver remarks while Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Social Security, the Hon. Sam Condor will give the Feature Address.
The ceremony is expected to be attended by His Excellency the Governor General, Dr. Sir Cuthbert Sebastian, Ministers of Government, the Speaker and members of the National Assembly, the business community and social security members.
It begins at 5 p.m.
