Bounty Killer and Tommy Lee War heating up

By: Suelika N. Creque, SKNVibes.com

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – ALHOUGH in a recent interview, dancehall artist Tommy Lee stated he had nothing but respect for Bounty Killer, it seems as though a lyrical war has ensued between the two, judging from a recent release by Lee.

On Saturday September 15, Tommy Lee launched an attack on Bounty Killer on a new track entitled ‘Goat Head’ which was followed by a video on Monday, (September 17) featuring an image of a goat with sunglasses which was said to mirror the legendary artiste’s face.

Additionally, Lee calls out the ‘War Lord’ on a number of issues, including his claims that the ‘Sparta’ concept has ties to homosexuality while highlighting some of Bounty Killer’s legal troubles.

Upon hearing ‘Goat Head’, Bounty Killer replied on Twitter with a clever comeback, stating “GrungGaadZilla a.k.a. Jesus Price is officially the dancehall G.O.A.T -the Greatest Of All Time,” while also referring to the Psycho deejay as ‘Tommy Flee’ and ‘Nyammy Lee.’

His Alliance Next Generation artiste, Iyara also shot back at the prominent ‘Gaza’ deejay with ‘Murda Dem’ which also dissed UIM Records producer, Anju Blaxx.

Additionally, Bounty Killer, who has received a lot of support and flack for his stance, issued a stern warning to Jamaica about the direction that its music and society are going, comparing them to Haiti, who has endured its share of natural disasters the last two years.

“Jamaica turned like Haiti. Worshiping voodoo and demons, God forbid but unuh see what happened to Haiti in recent times that unuh want reach Jamaicans too?” he asked.

Bounty Killer insisted last week that he would not clash with Tommy Lee at STING 2012 while releasing a new track featuring Kiprich and Alliance Next Generation protégé, Calado on the thought-provoking, ‘War Fi God’.

However, after Tommy Lee’s lyrical attack, many wonder whether or not the ‘Gaza’ vs. Alliance battle will re-emerge as a result of these recent developments.

It all started when the ‘cross, angry, miserable’ Alliance leader, Killer, criticized Lee and other artistes for the type of lyrics used in their music and described them as demonic.

Reports stated that Killer took to social media outlet, Twitter, to voice his frustrations against Lee and other Dancehall artistes who use demonic lyrics in their songs.

He first tweeted a link which tied in the ‘Sparta’ concept to homosexuality, sparking more controversy and speculation regarding Lee’s ‘Gaza Sparta’ persona.

But with the ‘shots’ fired and persons wondering if the two would clash at Sting 2012, Lee previously approached the verbal attack calmly and respectfully.

“Mi nuh have nuh comment pon dat enuh, a elder and mi nah disrespect him. Di youth dem just duh the right and hold up yu head. A him name Bounty and a him sey cross, angry and miserable. I have no problem with him, mi respect and love him same way, mi just a look mine and a mek sure sey mi kids dem eat,” Lee told the Jamaica STAR.
