BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, October 1st 2012 (CUOPM) – The response by Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, the Rt. Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas in wrapping up debate on The St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla National Bank (Investing in Certain Lands) Bill, 2012 will be featured on Tuesday’s edition of “Ask the Prime Minister.”

Press Secretary to the Prime Minister Mr. Erasmus Williams said there have been numerous requests from persons to hear the response by the Prime Minister to the concerns raised by other members of the lawmaking body.

“In this regard, the re-broadcast of the Prime Minister’s response to conclude debate in the National Assembly on this important Bill will begin at 10 a.m. on Tuesday,” Mr. Williams said on Monday night.

He said Dr. Douglas in his response reiterated that the legislation was first discussed in the Cabinet before being brought to the National Assembly and that it will relieve the burden of debt that the government has been carrying for some time and bring about investment and job opportunities to the twin-island federation.
