Vincentian on illegal entry charge; two on house-breaking related charges

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – A male Vincentian was will soon be facing the court for violating immigration and other laws of the Federation, and eight others, including a female, were charged with various offences ranging from house-breaking to fraud.

     

    A police release states that Karamo Gould of St. Vincent, but who currently resides at Nevis Street, Basseterre, was charged for illegally entering the Federation on Sunday, September 30, 2012.

     

    He was also charged with possession of firearm and possession of ammunition; offences he allegedly committed in Basseterre on Tuesday (Oct. 2).

     

    The release also states that Bisrate Battice of Taylor’s Village and Terrence Martin of Taylor’s Housing were charged with the offence of possession of house-breaking implements, allegedly committed on Sunday (Oct. 7); while Derrick Newton of Mad House Alley, Basseterre was charged with an October 5 offence of armed with an offensive weapon.

     

    Also, Dwight Edwards of Conaree Village was charged with larceny, allegedly committed on Wednesday (Oct. 3), and William Steven of Saddler’s Village was charged for the offence of receiving, committed on Monday (Oct. 8).

     

    And in a traffic-related incident, Keith Rhymer of Herbert Street was charged for willfully throwing himself in front of a motor vehicle. The offence was reportedly committed on Tuesday (Oct. 2).

     

    On sister isle Nevis, Tishana Collins of Central Alley, Gingerland was charged with obtaining credit by fraud; an offence which was allegedly committed at at Best Buy Supermarket between April 24, 2012 and July 27, 2012.

     

    Two men were charged with possession of cannabis - Alex Thompson of Brown Hill and Chris Reddie of bath Village.

     

    Reddie reportedly committed the offence on Wednesday (Oct. 3) and Thompson on Friday (Oct. 5).
