By: Stanford Conway, SKNVibes.com

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – THE lifeless body of an unidentified male was last night (Oct. 11) discovered lying in Soho Village, approximately 60 metres west of Upper Market Street in Basseterre.

Reports reaching this publication shortly after 11:00 p.m. had indicated that a man was shot to death in Soho Village.

However, on arrival at the scene, no one in the immediate vicinity had claimed to have heard any report of gunfire, and it was learnt that the unidentified man had died of natural causes.

Officers from the Basseterre Police Station, including members of the Crime Scene Unit, were also at the scene but no one was permitted to speak to the press.

The body was removed from the scene by undertakers under police escort and a source indicated that investigations are ongoing.

More on this incident in a subsequent publication as details become available.
