ST. GEORGE, Grenada, October 18th, 2012 – Prime Minister Hon. Tillman Thomas will on Thursday evening lead a delegation to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), for an official eight-day visit.
The visit is at the kind invitation and support of the President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), His Highness Sheik Khalifa Bin Zeyed Al Nahyan.
While in the UAE, PM Thomas will attend and address the World Energy Forum (WEF) and along with his team, engage in a series of bilateral discussions on issues of interest to Grenada and the UAE.
The Prime Minister is accompanied by Minister of Tourism and Culture, Dr. George Vincent, Ambassador William Joseph, Ambassador Michael Fisher, Counselor George McLeish, and Mr. Andre Sherman of the Grenada Hotel & Tourism Association.
On his return from the UAE, the PM will stop in New York to engage with Grenadians residing in the US and will arrive in Grenada on October 30, 2012.
In the Prime Minister’s absence, Minister of Finance Hon. Nazim Burke will act in his stead.
