    ROADTOWN Tortola BVI, October 22nd, 2012  --  In an ongoing effort to protect the community from Dengue Fever and the Aedes Aegypti mosquito, the Environmental Health Division is advising the public that its emergency fogging schedule will begin on Wednesday October 24.
     
    Emergency fogging will take place in the following communities in Tortola: the Dengue Hot Spots of Pasea Estate; Johnson’s Ghut and Purcell Estate; Slaney Hill; the Dengue Hot Spots of Nanny Cay, Hannah’s Estate and Palestina Estate.
     
    Vector Control Manager, Mr. Minchington Israel told the Department of Information and Public Relations, “Fogging will take place between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. during the week until all the areas listed are covered.

     

    We will further advise the public on the fogging schedule for the remaining coastal areas in Tortola and on the Sister Islands.”
