BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – MIRROR, mirror on the wall, which Halloween party is the best one of them all? Filled with ghosts and goblins and creepy crawlers this weekend Halloween fetes promise to be ‘spooktacular’!
Unfortunately, we cannot tell you which party is the best one of all, however, in this article we are going to explore and outline all the hot parties happening around St. Kitts for Halloween.
First off, Xpress Events will be hosting ‘Dead End Fete’ this evening Friday (Oct. 26) at Parrot Fish Lane, Half Moon Heights.
Not sure where that is but the directions are that you drive along Half Moon Bay Drive, turn left on Old Bay Way, left on Parrot Fish Drive and you are also asked to prepare yourself for the ride “because it will be an experience”.
The admission for the event is EC$20 and persons are also encouraged to BWYD (bring what you’re drinking) but a cash bar will be available.
There will be music by veterans Tombstone International and Firehouse Sound who have been making their mark recently.
The best part about this party? If you are the type to party all weekend long then you have the option of having an extra night to celebrate Halloween and attend whatever party of your choice tomorrow (Oct. 27) night.
Speaking of Saturday night, let us take a look at the ‘thriller’ parties for that night.
Children are going to have a blast at the 6th Annual Spooktacular Pre-Halloween Party at Carambola Beach Club.
There will be face-painting, arts/crafts, games, haunted house, dance competition and prizes to be won for costumes.
The event caters to children 9 and under beginning from 3:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. tickets are EC$20 and EC$25 at the door.
The Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College History Club presents ‘Freaky Horror Freakshow Party’ at Cloud 9, which offers you a choice of three venues.
On the rooftop there will be music by Celebrity Sounds, Kollision Band and Grand Masters while Leverage Sounds, Mad Squad Sounds, TNO Sounds and Fire House Sounds will be pumping music in the party hut.
If you think the party will be filled with college only then perhaps, however, the VIP lounge caters for the grown and sexy with only persons 25 and older entering.
That ‘mature’ crowd will enjoy the sounds of DJ Wet Dutt, Tombstone Itl. and a special guest artiste.
The party will feature free bloody eye shot, costume judging, Big Shake competition, exotic zombie dancers, pole competition and free rat poison cocktail and EC$20 gets you in.
Freaky Horror 2 ‘Psycho Halloween Party’ takes place at the G-Spot located in Sandy Point. There will be prizes for the best couple costume and sexiest costume, sickest mask and most creative costume.
The music will be provided by Small Axe Band, DJ Yardy, DJ Shaggy, Mad Squad Sounds and Outlaw Sounds and tickets are EC$25.
Green Moon Halloween Party will be held at the Island Auto Supply Building, in Bird Rock. This event will feature Heineken Evolution HD, Ross Wrecker DJ Lester, DJ Wett Dutt and DJ EK The Real Right.
Party-goers are encouraged to wear green but it is not mandatory. The green theme also refers to the all-green Halloween Cocktails they will be featuring including Vodka mix-drinks & Heineken specials.
The hostess for the night will be the 2012 Miss St. Kitts/Nevis World Markysa O'Loughlin and co-host, popular radio/TV personality Leslie ‘Sugar Bowl’ Morton and the cost for tickets start at EC$20 but if you are not wearing green or a costume it will be EC$30.
And finally, a party that has made a name for itself encouraging everyone to dress up for Halloween is celebrating five with a Halloween party themed, ‘The Walking Dead’.
Big Drew Productions is at it again featuring music by Sugar Band, Mixclusiv, Chronical Sound, Xtortion Sound, Sweet Sister Sensia and the Nu Vybz Band a.k.a. Sugar Band and costs EC$20 for tickets.
In a press release organizer Andrew Arthurton thanked everyone for being patient and bearing with them as they faced multiple challenges in confirming a venue.
“We are determined to continue providing an event of high standards which we have striven to provide over the past years,” he stated.
