BASSETERRE St. Kitts, November 2nd 2012 - “Standing on the promises of God” is determine and strong fifteen year old Sheneeqwa Rogers “Miss Academic” contestant number two.
She was born under the zodiac sign of virgo and the universe ordained that she would one day have the desire to serve. Growing up, Sheneeqwa learnt that she must work hard in order to achieve her goals.
At an early age she developed an interest in drama and at the tender age of nine , she entered the Poetry competition where she emerged a winner. Sheneeqwa attended the Tyrell Williams Primary School, and is no stranger to pageantry as she entered Tyrell Williams Primary School Queen show and was first runner up at ten years.
She is currently a fourth former at the Verchilds High School and pursing nine subjects of which mathematics is her favourite. This will help with her future goal of becoming a certified accountant.
In her leisure time, she enjoys listening music and singing a hobby that ignite her passion for performing. This passion drove her to become a messenger for the Lord. Through this inspiration and guidance she upholds her personal motto: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
