BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - FEMALE football action is expected to return to the Federation as the St. Kitts-Nevis Football Association (SKNFA) opens the second edition of the tournament among the women with a ‘Soccerama’.

On Friday (Nov. 9), the SKNFA is going to switch their attention to the females with eight clubs that have expressed their interest in participating in the tournament following a recent meeting which focused on the development of female football.

The event kicks off with an opening ceremony followed by the handing-over of training kits and cleats to the teams by the SKNFA.

Following the ceremony, the teams will compete in a Soccerama Tournament, where matches of 10 minutes will determine the winner.

The SKNFA invites the general public to share in this exciting event with the Federation female ball weavers as they look to create awareness of women's football in the Federation.

Teams slated to compete in the tournament are Bath United, Cayon, Conaree, Delphic Newtown United, St. Peters Blue Angels, St. Thomas Trinity Strikers, S.P.D and Village Football Clubs.

The inaugural edition of the Female Football Tournament took place earlier this year and was won by Delphic Newtown United.
