BASSETERRE St, Kitts, November 16th, 2012 -- The Horsford’s Valu Mart pharmacy have completed preparations for their 2nd Wellness Fair for 2012. The Wellness Fair is scheduled to take place this Saturday November 17th as part of the Horsford’s Valu Mart-Nevis’ 1st Anniversary Customer Appreciation Day.
According to Wallis Wilkin of the Horsford’s Group of Companies, the fair will be staged at the Horsford’s Valu Mart Complex at Farms Estate Nevis and will be conducted by a group of experienced , qualified as well as both active and retired Nevisian nurses . The nurses will conduct the activities at the 2nd such event for 2012, including FREE Blood Pressure and Diabetes tests as well as some general medical checks.
With High Blood Pressure and Diabetes being the major health problems of many of our people the Pharmacy at Valu Mart-Nevis feels it was absolutely necessary to again stage such an event to encourage much more awareness of the predominant health issues in the Nevisian community. The Pharmacy at Valu Mart will also be offering special anniversary Blue Tag Specials prices on selected items.
Through routine screenings, many diseases can be detected early, controlled, managed and or cured long before any symptoms and real life threatening problems develop.
That is why awareness is extremely important and the key to good health. Valu Mart Pharmacy’s FREE health fair is a great service to the community and a most appropriate way to give back to the customers whom the pharmacy has served over the last year.
The fair will run from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
