BASSETERRE St. Kitts, December 5th, 2012 -- Operation Future would like to extend an invitation to all members of the public to join us for the grand opening of our Creative Youth Academy. The ceremony will take place on December 7th beginning at 4 pm at the St. Johnston Village Community Center.
To our knowledge the center will be a first of its kind in the region, opened daily it will provide youth with a safe place to associate and provide them with a number of meaningful activities that encourages creativity and becoming positive members of the community in a chaperoned environment.
The center is part of Operation Future’s ongoing proactive holistic approach to addressing the issues of youth, crime and violence through community intervention.
We look forward to seeing you and supporting us in our goal of “Greater Achievement for Every Child”.
Seating for the ceremony takes place between 4 and 4:30, the formal program will launch at 4:30 with the singing of our National Anthem. During the course of the evening there will be tours of the facility and entertainment for all.
