December 19th, 2012 -- " I chose to nominate Rogie as CNN Hero 2013 because we were on his station The Power Network and without him we would not have made such a huge contribution to those who are mourning over the Sandy Hook Elementary Shooting Last Friday.
I would personally like to say that Rogie is an awesome fellow who has great potential thus I nominated him as CNN Hero for 2013 because such an impact he has made on so many of the victims famlies.
Moreover he has received many calls from families in Newton and many families are saying thanks to such an inspiring young teen who has taken time out to pay tributes to those persons who has died so suddenly.
I have known Rogie for a few days now and he has helped me get through this time of bereavement as it has hit the nation of America and even the world at large.
I would just like to say Kudos to Rogie Keandre ' Thompson and his family down there in The Caribbean and a blest Christmas to All.
