BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - FORMER Trinidad and Tobago Road March Champion, who is known for tunes such as ‘The Band Coming’ and ‘Dead or Alive’, Shurwayne Winchester is all set and ready for the Carnival Karma Cooler Fete later this evening (Dec. 22) at the LIME Grounds.
Winchester arrived on St. Kitts earlier today and told SKNVibes that he is all about energy.
"My fan base is 95 percent female, so of course you're going to have songs for the ladies, then we gonna take it up a notch and we just going where the music carries us. It's about giving the fans of St. Kitts an experience that tomorrow they must be saying, 'Oh Gosh! I had a time,' that's what it's about," he said.
Winchester also said that he is happy to be in St. Kitts because it reminds him of Tobago.
Carnival Karma Cooler Fete is an event like no other, which is providing patrons with a host of top acts and the opportunity for them to take their own drinks to the party in a cooler.
The lineup includes Nu Vybes, Kollision and Grand Masters Bands along with seven DJs.
The event is being hosted by Cane Juice while LIME is the premiere sponsor.
LIME’s Marketing Manager Darien Belle said that the event is something his customers would really enjoy.
"Cane Juice has been doing events for quite a while and we're pleased with the way they manage their events. So we're proud to partner with them on this particular event in bringing Shurwayne Winchester back to St. Kitts," Belle said.
