13-year-old girl missing; public asked to assist in finding her

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – THE Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force and the family as well as friends of Juanita Patricia Johnson are asking the public to assist them in locating her.

     

    She has gone missing since Monday (Jan. 7).

     

    A message, which has been circulating via Blackberry Messenger (BBM), informs that the 13-year-old of Tabernacle Village had gone missing since Monday (Jan. 7) and was sighted on the following day at about 11:15 a.m. in the John England, St. Peters area.

     

    According to the message, she was wearing a yellow T-shirt and a mini jean skirt.

     

    The Immaculate Conception Catholic School student is said to weigh 120 pounds, 5’2” tall and her hair was “roped in a circle from the back with twigs fall to the right side of her face” when last seen.

     

    Persons who know of Juanita’s whereabouts are asked to make contact either Officer Powell at 667-7380 or Officer Audain at 665-5785. They can also contact Police Headquarters at 465-2241 or Stapleton Police Station at 465-2418.

     

    SKNVibes confirmed that the information disseminated by BBM is accurate and it is also understood that police officers have been making searches for the teenager and will continue tomorrow.
