Four major sponsors sign on to BLACK SAN’ 2013

By: BLACK SAN’, Press Release

More festival donors coming on board!

SANDY POINT, St. Kitts and Nevis, February 26th, 2013  --  It’s the final quarter before the nation’s largest community festival gets underway, and already many of the major business heavyweights are throwing their support behind Black San’ Bang-A-Lang 2013.

Major title sponsor RAM’s Trading Ltd has returned for a third year, as the growing festival is now a permanent fixture of its expanding community portfolio. This year has also seen a strong sponsor in telecommunications giant, and repeat title-sponsor LIME, whose support three years in a row is proof of its commitment to invest in the communities it serves. The telecoms provider was among the very first to renew its commitment to the festival this year! Carib Brewery (St. Kitts-Nevis Ltd.) has also owned this year’s festival with an incredible show of support, placing its signature yellow and blue on two major events this year.

The support of multimedia house SKNVibes has cemented it in its position as being among the top tier of festival sponsors. Its title-sponsored Knockshore Night, in partnership with RAM’s Appleton Rum, is shaping up to be one of this year’s largest crowd-pleasers! Other media partners who have given the festival much of its buzz include the regional video-production craze TruCapo, and emerging entertainment page-turner Ryddim Magazine.

‘’These four companies are the leading drivers behind Black San’. When people see the big brands: RAM’s, LIME, Carib Brewery and SKNVibes, they must know that they are not just popular goods and services providers but they are also community partners! They ensure that the work we do beyond the festival can have real and lasting effect in the communities we serve,’’ SPIRIT President Seanel Riley said.

Black San’ Bang-A-Lang 2013 has brought a vibrant mix of loyal commercial partners and newcomers to the festival Donor’s List. Sandy Point’s very own Dollar Stretcher and E&K Supermarket have topped the list this year, showing their undying support for the homegrown festival and the community work it finances.

This year’s new sponsors include Mitcham&Benjamin, St. Kitts Marine Works, and Rosy’s Shop-Fig Tree. According to organizers, this list is expected to increase in the next week.

‘’It is always exciting to see new community partners and donors for the festival. This year we have seen small shops and mainstream businesses join in the community affair. We are currently in talks with other small businesses and we are certainly welcoming more companies to lend their support to this year’s four weeks of events,’’ Riley added.

To be among this year’s sponsors, contact the Black San’ Bang-A-Lang Marketing Team at 662-7908 or drop us a line at sandypointspirit@gmail.com and we will be very pleased to contact you.
