BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – AS a way of giving back to the community, the staff at the Eye Clinic of the Joseph Nathaniel France General Hospital (JNF) is offering free eye scanning services on October 24 and 25.

The Clinic will be opened from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily and requires no appointment, and is expected to offer vision tests and prescriptions.

According to Assistant Matron Rita Isaac, the Eye Screening Programme is open to persons of all ages and would focus on early detection to allow early intervention. She informed that the staff would be screening for glaucoma, cataract and pterygium, among other eye diseases.

Isaac and her staff have given the assurance that they would work to accommodate all interested persons and stressed the importance, as they remind the public that “Your eyes are you sight”.   ~~Adz:Right~~
