Governor to deliver Speech from the Throne on November 13

~~Adz:Right~~ Roadtown, Tortola - His Excellency the Governor David Pearey will deliver the Speech from the Throne at the first sitting of the second session of the First House of Assembly of the Virgin Islands on Thursday, November 13.

The Speech from the Throne is an outline of the Government’s legislative agenda for the coming session of the House.

The House of Assembly was prorogued on September 22. In a proclamation on October 22, the Governor announced that the House would reconvene at 10 a.m. on November 13, at the House of Assembly in Road Town.

The last Speech from the Throne was delivered by then-Governor Tom Macan on July 10, 2003.
