    LIME, SKNVibes bring TopUp to consumers’ finger tips

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts –SKNVibes has partnered with telecommunications company, LIME to bring the latest technology in mobile service to customers with the official launch of Text TopUp.

     

    The innovative service allows LIME mobile customers the ease of adding credit to any pre-paid account by simply sending an SMS text to 333.

     

    SKNVibes.com Chief Financial Officer, Stachio Williams said that their partnership with LIME (formerly bMobile) has brought cutting edge technology to the finger tips of pre-paid customers in every country where LIME operates.

     

    “Text top-up is an exciting addition to the services provided by LIME to their prepaid mobile customers. Now they can TopUp their phones by sending a simple SMS [text] message; no internet connection required. It is totally free and accessible to all LIME users,” Williams informed.

     

    “Customers will now be able to TopUp their phones, friends’ and family’s phones from anywhere, at any time. So even if you are travelling or want to TopUp someone’s phone in another LIME territory, all you have to do is send a text. It can’t get any better or easier than this.”

     

    David Lake, Country Manager for LIME St. Kitts-Nevis said that he had alluded to the introduction of the service at last week’s media launch of LIME and was delighted with the official launch of Text TopUp.

    “I am delighted to announce that LIME is proud to partner with SKNVibes on this new innovative TopUp solution. At LIME, we support anything that makes life easier for our customers, which truly makes LIME a better place to do business."

     

    In order to use the convenient Text TopUp, customers would simply register their Credit or Debit Card and a 4-Digit PIN at http://www.sknvibes.com/lime/. To TopUp a customer’s own phone, they would text their number, then a space, then the amount to 333. The customer will receive a confirmation text which reads "Transaction complete!" along with the transaction details.

     

    To TopUp another individual’s phone, a customer can simply text the person’s number, then a space, then the amount to 333. The customer would receive a text message from 333 requesting the 4-Digit PIN that they registered with. They would then reply to 333 with the 4-Digit PIN and receive a confirmation text which reads "Transaction complete!" along with the transaction details.

     

    Williams explained that the process was not only simple and convenient - it was completely safe.
    “The 4-digit PIN will ensure that even if you lose your phone, no-one will be able to use it to send a Text TopUp. All information [Card Details etc.] is encrypted for security and confidentiality.

     

    “Never be stuck without access to call credit because it’s late at night or you are far from a TopUp vendor. Now call credit is just a text away.”
