                                        National Assembly to debate six bills on Tuesday

    BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, NOVEMBER 9TH 2008 (CUOPM) – Six bills will be debated by lawmakers when the St. Kitts and Nevis National Assembly meets on Tuesday 11th November.
     
    According to the Order Paper, Prime Minister and Minister of National Security, Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas will pilot the Noise Abatement Bill, 2008.
     
    Dr. Douglas, in his capacity as Minister of Sustainable Development, will also seek approval from lawmakers for the Condominium Bill, 2008; the St. Kitts Peninsula Resort District (Planned Community) (Amendment) Bill, 2008 and the Saint Christopher and Nevis Vacation and Time Share (Amendment) Bill, 2008.
     
    The Criminal Law Amendment Bill stands in the name of Attorney General and Minister of Justice and Legal Affairs, Hon. Dennis Merchant and the Vehicles and Road Traffic (Amendment) (No. 2) Bill stands in the name of Minister of Public Works, Utilities, Posts and Transport, Dr. the Hon. Earl Asim Martin.
     
    Tuesday’s sitting of the National Assembly starts at 11 A.M.  ~~Adz:Right~~
