    'Horse Head shot'
     In critical but stable condition

    ~~Adz:Left~~BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – A shooting incident which took place last night resulted in a young man from Saddlers Village nursing gunshot wounds at the Joseph N. France General Hospital.

     

    Information reaching this media house states that at about 10:25 last evening, Sunday, November 9, 2008, 24-year-old Vincent ‘Horse Head’ Warner was walking in the vicinity of the cemetery at Lavington when he was shot.

     

    SKNVibes understands that the wounded man was first taken to the Mary Charles Hospital in Molineaux by a private vehicle and later to the Joseph N. France (JNF) General Hospital by an Emergency Medical Services (EMS) unit, where he underwent surgery.

     

    Sources close to SKNVibes indicate that Warner was shot thrice; one bullet struck him on the left side of his chest, one in the left arm and the other in the groin.

     

    According to a police source, Warner, who is said to be in critical but stable condition, indicated that he is unaware of his attacker(s) identity. However, sources further indicated that one individual was arrested “on suspicion of shooting with intent” and is assisting the police with their investigations into the incident.

     

    Persons having information relative to the incident are asked to contact the St. Pauls Police Station at 465-6281, and all are reminded that any information given will be treated with the strictest confidence.
