    Juvenile arrested for failing to deliver mail

    ~~Adz:Right~~BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – A juvenile of Ponds Estate was on Friday (Nov. 7) slapped with a criminal charge in which he allegedly failed to deliver a quantity of mail.

     

    Details surrounding the incident which led to the 17-year-old’s arrest are still sketchy, but SKNVibes understands that the young man was employed at the General Post Office and, according to the police, he was arrested and charged with “neglecting to deliver post letters when he was an officer appointed to do so”.

     

    Meanwhile, a number of other individual believed to have been in contravention of the law was arrested and charged accordingly.

     

    Monkey Hill, St. Peters resident, Cecil Charles was arrested and charged with an October 31, 2008 offence of “escaping lawful custody”.

     

    Leroy Elliot of St. Paul’s Village was on November 6, 2008 arrested and charged for malicious damage. The offence was committed on November 2, 2008.

     

    Michael Daniel, a resident of Rawlins Village, was arrested and charged with one count each of “battery on police”, “obstruction”, “resisting arrest” and “driving under the influence”.

     

    Four men of The Alley, Sandy Point were arrested and charged with the offence of “larceny”.  They were identified as Bernard Boone, Kevin Boone, Adonis Warner and Leroy Hodge. The police have indicated that the offence was allegedly committed on November 5, 2008.

     

    For a November 7, 2008 offence of “causing malicious damage”, Old Road resident Jevon Allen was arrested and charged.

     

    “Building breaking” was the offence brought against Ike Dias of Boyd’s Village. Police have informed that the offence was committed on October 29, 2008.

     

    Market Street resident Cleo Foster Mc Sheen was arrested and charged with an October 28, 2008 offence of “making use of threatening language”.

     

    For “refusing to give name when lawfully required to do so”, Bernard Weekes of Newcastle was arrested and charged.
