News reaching SKNVibes states that shortly before 3:00 this afternoon the officer approached an unidentified male to conduct a search of his person. The man, at that time, was imbibing at one of the stalls in the vicinity of the Ferry Terminal.

This media house understands that the officer parked his bicycle, held on to one of the man’s hands and led him to an area close to the Bay Road Bus Terminal, where the man erupted into a burst of angry words over the intended search.

It is also understood that during the brief exchange of words, the man boxed the officer after he released his hand. However, another officer of the said Unit, who was nearby, went to his assistance and the man decided to run away.
