Partly decomposed body found in Cotton Ground
Federation’s murder toll now 20

CHARLESTOWN, Nevis - THE partly decomposed body of Llewellyn Martin was discovered yesterday afternoon (Nov. 23) in his Cotton Ground home with multiple stab wounds.
According to reports, the body of the 54-year-old man, who was originally from Jessups Village and worked as a gardener at Mansa’s, was discovered in his living room.
Close associates claimed to have last seen him alive on Friday, November 21 and noted that family members might have to hurriedly bury him due to the decomposing state of his body.
Martin’s death, which is recorded as a homicide, brings to 20 the total number of murders to have taken place in the twin-island Federation for the year. Five of these homicides were committed on Nevis and the remainder on St. Kitts.
Police investigations are ongoing.
