BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, June 14th 2013 (CUOPM) – Local media and advertising and security businesses are getting assistance from the Government of St. Kitts and Nevis.
Minister of Information, the Hon. Nigel Carty said that Cabinet of Ministers has considered and approved application for duty concessions for two small businesses operating in the area of media and advertising, and security.
“Honourable members were of the view that small local businesses operating in expanding services sector of the local economy, must continue to receive government support to enhance quality and competitiveness,” said Mr. Carty.
He said the duty concessions will be applied to materials that the businesses require to upgrade and expand their activities.
