Duty and consumption tax waived on importation of domestic generators
 
BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, NOVEMBER 26TH 2008 (CUOPM) – Residents have until the middle of January next year to import domestic-sized generators duty free.
 
The Cabinet on Monday approved the request of Minister of Public Works, Utilities, Transport and Posts, Dr. the Hon. Earl Asim Martin to extend the importation period from December 31st to January 15th 2009.~~Adz:Right~~
 
Cabinet recently decided to remove the duty and consumption tax from domestic size generators imported into the country.
