LIME continues Christmas Promotion, two more winners announced

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – LIME’s six-week Christmas Promotion has moved on to its second week of giveaways and two of its subscribers are now one step closer to winning the US $1 million grand prize.
Yesterday, (Dec. 2) Sharmaine Liburd of Basseterre was the winner of the HP IPaq mobile phone and Shawn Greenaway of Dieppe Bay became the proud owner of a brand new HP laptop.
Greenaway informed that he was entered by simply topping-up more than EC $20. He said, “I really wasn’t expecting anything. I was very surprised and overwhelmed because it was just last night I had made a decision to buy a laptop and then I got the notice. This is like my Christmas gift from LIME. One step closer to a US $1M sure feels good and hopefully I get the grand prize... that would be even better!”
Greenaway expressed great confidence in winning the jackpot and indicated that he plans to invest it in such a way that he would be able to achieve some of his greater future goals.

into the million-dollar draw, she walked away with a cheque valued EC$500.
VP of Corporate Communications Laverne Caines stated that many of the customers have been giving a feverish response to the Christmas Promotion and expressed similar excitement about the draws.
“One of the things that has been mentioned is the concern about the amount of money given to one person. But we felt that we should do it in a big way! We wanted for this Christmas promotion to have a big impact with the launch of the new brand. Customers are beginning to get excited about the possibilities of winning the grand prize. It is an absolutely wonderful thing!
“A million dollars can make a real change in somebody’s life and my personal hope is that it would be somebody who would use the money to work for them and help others in order to realize more returns. I am remaining extremely hopeful that the winner of the grand prize would be from St.Kitts-Nevis.”
Caines encouraged all subscribers to be a part of the Promotion by simply topping up more than EC $20, signing up for or upgrading an existing service, paying bills in full and on time or texting the word “WIN” to shortcode 5463 (LIME).
She noted that the excitement has been steadily growing as customers are hoping to win next week’s 9000 Blackberry Bold and 8320 Blackberry Curve and are to waiting to see who will walk away with the grand prize on January 9, 2009.
