BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - THE victim of last night’s (July 14) stabbing incident has been identified as Errington Tashaun Fyfield of Lime Kiln, Basseterre.
SKNVibes had received news last night that a man was allegedly stabbed by his child’s mother shortly before 10:00 p.m. in Middle Island.
Reportedly, the man, Fyfield, was rushed to the Joseph N. France General Hospital where he underwent emergency surgery.
A close friend of Fyfield told this media house that they spoke with him this morning and that his condition is “stable”.
Unconfirmed information reaching this media house indicated that Fyfield and a certain woman have ongoing issues with regards to visitations rights, which led to a verbal battle between the two last night.
It is alleged that he is only allowed to see the child during the day, but he took the child home hours after the prescribed time which the woman opined was “too late”.
Reports reaching SKNVibes also claimed that neighbours said the woman was “really upset” and that she was the only one “raising she voice”.
This media house awaits word from the police as to the result of their investigation into this matter.
