CASTRIES, St Lucia -- Acting on its strong and consistent message, “Committed to building a better Saint Lucia”, leader of the Lucian People’s Movement, Therold Prudent, will embark on an island-wide tour to dialogue with citizens on Thursday, August 8, 2013.
According to Prudent, “the focus of the tour is to engage in productive public discourse with Saint Lucians from all walks of life, to listen carefully to their myriad concerns and to incorporate their response into providing better solutions to the nation’s problems and challenges.
While on tour, the LPM will also conduct pre-screening for potential candidates to carry the banner for the LPM in the next general election. In the near future, the party will consult with constituents to determine the best-suited and most qualified candidate.
“The LPM has learnt many lessons from the last elections and is determined to present a full slate of men and women with the capacity to transform their communities and Saint Lucia for the better.”
Prudent said, that the extensive experience he gained working across numerous global economies will add significant value to the LPM mission of producing sustainable socio-economic and creative development initiatives, both at the community and the national level.
The LPM national tour will be accompanied by party well-wishers and will conclude with a constituency-wide visit of Gros Islet.
