    Teen stabbed, another arrested

     


    St. Thomas, USVI- An argument between two students resulted in one being stabbed several times and the other being arrested on Tuesday (Dec. 16).

     

    The victim, a fifteen-year-old male, was stabbed with a knife at least three times in the back by a schoolmate and is currently warded at Schneider Hospital. He was listed in stable condition but under doctor’s watch.

     

    The other teen involved in the skirmish was apprehended in the Tutu area and taken into police custody shortly after the mid-afternoon incident.

     

    In unrelated news, Police on St. Croix continue the search for an escapee of the Youth Rehabilitation Center.

     

    On the lam is Kareem Louis, 17, after he simply walked away from a group of YRC residents attending class at the University of the Virgin Islands, St. Croix campus this past Saturday (Dec. 13).

     

    According to the Virgin Islands Daily News, Louis is described as being 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs 133 pounds. He has a dark complexion and close-cropped hair with a tattoo on his right shoulder with two daggers overlaid by a cross.

     

    Police informed that Louis was known to hang around the Estate William's Delight and Catherine's Rest areas and asked that anyone with information about Louis' whereabouts call Detective Claudette Sutton at 778-2211 ext. 2048. ~~Adz:Right~~
