BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - KITTITIAN athlete Kim Collins continues to show he deserves his place among the world’s best sprinters in Italy after a fourth place finish at the Rieti Meeting 2013 on Saturday (Sept. 7).
Collins placed fourth in a time of 10.16 seconds as he trailed the likes of Walter Dix, Dwain Chambers and Ryan Bailey who sped away with the medal places.
The 37-year-old Kittitian sprinter last week also fell short of a medal place after he finished fourth in a time of 10.11 seconds, while his fellow country man Jason Roger finished fifth in 10.25 seconds.
Preceding that performance Collins was second in a time of 10.15 seconds behind Kemar Bailey-Cole of Jamaica, while Jason Rogers placed fifth in a time of 10.35 seconds.
