BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - THE official music video for a new Pop song called ‘Keep It Coming’ by Hailie J featuring Silky De General of St. Kitts, has been getting a lot of ‘five star’ ratings by many people who have seen it so far.

The video, which was directed and produced by Nigel ‘Capo’ Lewis of Tru Capo Productions, was released on Wednesday night (Sept. 4) live on ZIZ TV during The People’s Show.

Notably, Lewis is a well-known and respected professional in this field of work in the Federation.

SKNVibes had an exclusive chit- chat with him about the vision he had in coming up with the concept for ‘Keep It Coming’.

“Coming up with the concept wasn't that hard. When I heard the beat alone, the video had to have this different feel…more of an international appeal. Both artistes and I sat down and threw ideas at each other. The shots were simple but effective and I took a different approach to how I (normally) do videos.”

Lewis was asked how was the experience of working with both Hailie J and Silky.

“This was not the first time working with both artistes. I’ve worked with Silk on numerous occasions and I worked with Hailie J on another collaboration video, which was ‘Bout My Money’ with SMI. They are both patient and they understand the work put into getting a project completed.”

The 24- year-old songstress, Mahalia ‘Hailie J’ Davis, when asked about the feedback she has been getting following the video release, told SKNVibes that a lot of people have been saying “they love it”, adding that she has been receiving lots of messages.

Her music colleague, 22-year-old Javier ‘Silky’ Hutton, similarly revealed that he has been getting “major” positive feedback and has been receiving “a lot of messages” as well.
