BASSETERRE St. Kitts, November 1st, 2013 -- The Tucker Clarke Primary School announces the launch of its 2nd Science Fair to be held at the school’s auditorium from November 13th -15th starting at 10:00 am.
This Fair will be the school’s highlight and ‘showdown’ for this term. It is a great avenue for putting the pupil’s work in Science and Technology on display. This exhibition promises to stir your imagination into amazement and wonder, while bringing you to the settling reality of how things work.
The general public is invited to the school to see the pupils’ displays, investigations and experiments. Pupils will be present to explain how things work.
The Science Fair is funded by Mrs. Edris Lewis-Viehweg, and her associates. Mrs. Lewis-Viehweg is one of the nation’s prominent stars, who provide high school scholarships to Grade six students at a couple of our primary schools. She has already donated all the prizes to be awarded at the end of this Science Fair.
The purpose of this Fair is to stimulate and develop scientific thinking, and technological applications. It also will serve to encourage appreciation for the Sciences at the high school level; thus, keeping Science and Technology alive and floating in the schools.
