BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – THE recent release of SKNVibes’ PEP Radio has received rave reviews and has propelled the company to launch the radio in full swing coupled with the launch of PEP TV, a similar initiative of ‘People Entertaining People’.

PEP Radio and TV feature the nation’s favourite DJ and one of the region’s leading entertainers Leslie ‘Sugar Bowl’ Morton as he brings ‘pep’ back to the region’s fast-growing entertainment sector.

VP of Sales and Marketing at SKNVibes Udora Farrell said as a result of the overwhelming response from the soft launch of the online radio station, the company has announced its regular schedule. The ‘pep’ can be experienced from Sunday to Saturday from 8am-8pm with Sugar Bowl broadcasting live shows from 9am-1pm weekdays.

Farrell added that PEP TV would offer 60 minutes of sports, entertainment and interviews showcasing local artistes and events.

“PEP TV will be shown on Channel 24 on The Cable in St. Kitts on Wednesdays at 8pm. Negotiations with Cable on Nevis are ongoing and the public will be updated soon. You can also watch the programme on demand at SKNVibes.com from 8pm.”

Farrell added that locals residing overseas and individuals interested in what is going on in the Federation would be able to view the events they missed and would feature highlights from sports, entertainment and interviews of locals. She said the new step is “filling a void which will allow the people of St. Kitts-Nevis and beyond to view events on demand – something that has never been tried in St. Kitts-Nevis”.

“It is a way of demonstrating to the world that we have sporting and entertainment activities that attract the widest spectrum of people: the young, the aged, locals, regional and international. PEP TV is a further step toward strengthening the company’s thrust of expansion to reach a wider scope of persons around the world. ~~Adz:Left~~

“Here at SKNVibes, we cover many events but we only use a limited amount for news, usually in written form. However, PEP TV gives us an opportunity to share video footage of some of the events to our thousands of supporters. The good thing is that since SKNVibes is presenting this, it will not only be viewed in St. Kitts, but it will also be seen in Nevis and all over the world. We see ourselves as a global company promoting the Federation and the region at large in as many different forms as possible.”

Sugar Bowl worded his pleasure in undertaking this new initiative and said he is anticipating the full run of both PEP Radio and TV.

“This is really what I have been waiting for; this would be the step that completes me! My choice to spread my wings here at SKNVibes has been nothing but progressive change. I am usually heard on radio and very often I am seen on the television, but this is something different; with the internet, I would no longer be limited to St. Kitts-Nevis, but I would be heard all around the world.

“PEP TV is an innovative element of the overall entertainment thrust of SKNVibes which will mostly feature local artistes and events. Wherever the action is, wherever the PEP is, we will get it and bring it to the world. This is nothing like previous shows; I am not stationed behind a desk but I can be at anywhere at any time bringing PEP to more persons in more places.”

Sugar Bowl said that the company will be “taking it step by step” as they deliver a high standard of entertainment coverage to the nation, the region and the world at large.
