BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - AFTER weeks of anticipation, the wait is finally over and the identity of the five beauties vying for the title of 2013-2014 National Carnival Queen have been revealed!
The ladies were presented to the public at the Official Opening of Sugar Mas’ 42 this evening (Nov. 22) at the Western end of the Old Treasury Building on the Bay Road. This followed a grand parade which flowed through the streets of Basseterre.
The vivacious beauties are Kaeve 'MiMi' Armstrong, Brianda Harvey, Lasanna Yearwood, Yarayni Morton and Shakeda Gerald.
The young ladies introduced themselves to the captivated audience which displayed their appreciation via robust applause.
It was obvious that different sections of the crowd had already chosen their favourite of the beauties but all would have to wait until the evening of December 27, 2013 to find out who would earn the 2013/2014 National Carnival Queen title.
The fabulous five would take centre stage at Sugar Mill, Warner Park and make appearances in a number of segments including the Talent, Evening Wear and Interview segments.
