Basseterre, St Kitts (4 January 2014): January is Rotary Awareness Month and is celebrated by Rotary International and all Rotary Clubs throughout the world each year.
As part of the celebrations to mark the visit of the Governor for our District (7030) to the Federation during the period 9-11 January 2014, and in keeping with this month's theme, the Rotary Clubs in St Kitts, that is the Rotary Club of Liamuiga (RCL) and the Rotary Club of St Kitts (RCSK) will on Thursday, 9 January 2013, host a Joint Rotary Awareness Panel Discussion.
The St Kitts Rotary Clubs cordially invite you to our Rotary Awareness Panel Discussion which is open to all media houses and the general public. It will be held at St George’s Anglican Church Hall (Old Girls' School) during the period 4:30 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.
Topics to be addressed will include, but are not limited to:
1. What is Rotary?
2. The Effects of Rotary in the Community in St Kitts & Nevis and Worldwide
3. Projects executed/sponsored by local Rotary Clubs over the years
Panellists will include our District Governor Herve Honore of the Rotary Club of Francois, Martinique; our Assistant District Governor Trevor Blake; and representatives of both Rotary Clubs on St. Kitts.
Following the Panel Discussion there will be a short Question and Answer Session during which members of the media and the general public may ask questions.
