BASSETERRE St. Kitts, January 15th, 2014 -- Dr the Hon Timothy Harris, Unity Leader and Member of Parliament for St Christopher 7 has congratulated Louisa Vanterpool, on her 100th anniversary. Dr Harris visited Ms. Vanterpool at the Grange Health Facility in Ottleys and conveyed his heart felt wishes for her continued good health and well being.
Dr Harris said that, “I have known Louisa Vanterpool all my life. She has always been full of life, with an independent spirit, assertive of her rights and God fearing. She has joined that special and unique genre of people blessed with sound mind and the strength to live on to make the 100th mark. May God continue to favor her and shelter her under his wings.”
Among those present for the historic occasion were family members including her daughter Mrs. Greene-Henry who flew in from U.S.A for the occasion. Raymond Greene, a grandson, also flew in from New York. The staff and patients at the facility, church representatives, and friends all participate in the worthy celebratory affair.
