SKNVibes understands that on Saturday (Jan. 18) Adelaide Francis was travelling from New York reportedly on flight 1584 and because she fell ill - as explained in a report carried on www.bernews.com - “the flight crew made the decision to land in Bermuda”.

The report also indicates that the flight left New York at approximately 5:00 p.m. and was diverted to Bermuda sometime before 8:00 p.m.

“The Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service along with an ambulance were at the airport terminal tarmac to meet the arriving flight where the passenger was taken off the plane and transported to King Edward Memorial Hospital,” the report states.

It was learnt that Francis had died and this publication spoke to one of her relatives, who indicated that he did not know the cause of her death but suspects that an autopsy would be conducted.

Francis was an employee of Kajola Kristada where she had functioned for a number of years as an Operation Manager.
