BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, January 30th 2014 (CUOPM) – A joint meeting of the Federal Cabinet and the Cabinet of the Nevis Island Administration will convene in Basseterre tomorrow Friday 31st January.
The joint Cabinet meeting, to be held in the Cabinet Room, Government Headquarters, will be attended by an International Monetary Fund (IMF) delegation lead by Chief of Mission for St. Kitts and Nevis, Ms. Judith Gold.
The delegation is expected to update the Federal and NIA Cabinets on their findings over the past several days following discussions with officials of the Ministries of the Federal and NIA governments, the private sector and financial institutions including the St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla National Bank and the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB).
