BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - A young man from Gingerland lost his life this morning (Feb. 1) following a tragic traffic accident which took place in Nevis.

The deceased - SKNVibes understands - is Julius Manners of Hicksman Village, who is said to be approximately 26 years old.

Information which has been disseminated by the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force via a press release indicates that the incident occurred at about 8:50 a.m. in an area popularly known as Market Shop, Gingerland.

Details of the crash are sketchy at this time but this publication understands that Manners was operating a motorcycle in that area and persons in proximity observed the sound of a loud crash, and upon investigating, discovered that a serious accident had occurred.

The police press release explains that according to their investigations, the deceased “was operating a motorcycle when the accident occurred, and he succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the accident”.
