Small businesses to benefit from new loan venture

By: Staff Reporter, SKNVibes.com

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – SMALL businesses would soon be able to access small loans faster from a new product that one small company, Fast Cash, will be launching.

This initiative would aid business entities that are unable to access loans from the leading lending institutions in the Federation to acquire them once they would have reached the company’s criteria.

The product, BiZ, will be launched on Tuesday (Feb. 4) and it seeks to provide a flexible repayment period to business managers or directors who would want to borrow in the range of $10 000-$50 000.

This is according to Country Manager Alice James who gave SKNVibes Business an insight into the new product.

She explained that the initiative would see the manager or director or top level personnel of a given small business being granted a one to six-month period to repay the borrowed amount, noting that entities must have the requisite information provided on their financial statement.

She stressed that one of the key things managers need to understand is that “all loans taken would be placed under the name of the director and they must show their Certificates of Incorporation and Articles of Incorporation”.

James said the company is not only providing a service to its salaried customers, but also to businesses and persons who may want or need the relevant service.

Apart from its St. Kitts office located in the vicinity of The Circus, Fast Cash has others in Antigua, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Grenada and Dominica.
