SCASPA hires new batch of Security Officers

By: SCASPA, Press Release

Bird Rock, St. Kitts – February 3, 2014 (SCASPA):  The St. Christopher Air and Sea Ports Authority (SCASPA) welcomed the month of February with 10 new hires within its Security Department.

The recruitment of additional staff is part of SCASPA’s ongoing expansion as the Security Department will now offer services to the new Fixed Based Operations Terminal that is located west of the Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport. The new hires will provide courteous and professional security services in accordance with established international security codes and conventions and the regulations of the Authority and the Federation.

Security Manager of SCASPA, Mr. Raymond Cotton said: “We hired a committed group to make contributions to our Security department of both the airport and seaport. With the expansion of our security services at SCASPA, it was imperative that such a move was made to effectively meet the demands of 2014.”

Chief Executive Officer of SCASPA, Mr. Jonathan Bass welcomed the new hires in SCASPA's New Employee Orientation Program.

“We welcome you to SCASPA. It’s a great place to work with myriad opportunities for you to develop and grow. We will ensure that you receive the requisite training so that we can meet and exceed local and international Security Standards for our Airport and Seaport Operations. We want you to enforce our regulations and be courteous and respectful. We ask you to be balanced – to be firm with what you are doing and friendly…. The sky is the limit when you come at SCASPA and I wish you the best in your tenure here.”

The move marks another exciting chapter for SCASPA as it earmarks the commencement operations of the New FBO Terminal.
