Imagen activaJakarta, Feb 3 (Prensa Latina) -- Indonesia and the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis established diplomatic relations and signed a communique expressing their wish to jointly develop their trade potentials, Antara news agency reported today.
The text was signed by Indonesiaâ?Ös permanent representative to the United Nations in New York, Desra Percaya, and his counterpart from Saint Kitts and Nevis, Frank Delano, added the official note.
"Our countries have collaborated in several sectors before making official bilateral diplomatic links," noted ambassador Desra.
Indonesia and Saint Kitts and Nevis must focus their efforts now in developing and promoting tourism as a source of income for both, he said.
The source noted that Indonesia maintains diplomatic relations with 185 member countries of the United Nations.
