February 7th, 2014 -- Parliamentary Representative for Constituency #8 Team UNITY’s The Honourable Eugene Hamilton ended his anniversary week by worshiping at the Peoples Evangelical Center at Needsmust Estate.
During the week the Honourable Member shared in the 101st birthday of Annie David who is one of his constituents living at Upper Monkey Hill. Hamilton along with Hon. Shawn Richards Leader of PAM and Hon Dr. Timothy Harris Leader of PLP and Team Unity brought gifts of love to the deserving mother, grandmother, great grandmother who to this day plys her trade at the market in Basseterre.
On Tuesday the Honourable Hamilton brought gifts to his Alma-Mata, the Cayon primary school where he also began his working life as a teacher at the age of 16 years.
During the week Hamilton paid visits to some of his sick and shut-in constituents, offering prayers and encouragement to them.
On Sunday the Constituency 8 MP along with some of his constituents and workers journeyed to Needsmust where at the local church he shared in the service, giving thanks to God for raising him up to a task for the good of his fellowmen.
Called upon to read the scripture during the service Hamilton offered up prayers and gave thanks to God, his team and to Pastor Matthew whom he described as a blessed man; blessed by God as he continues to serve in the vineyard of his master.
He continued as he reiterated the words of the spirit filled song “there is an army rising up; break every chain”.
Before reading from Isaiah Chapter 40 verses 1-8 the Honourable Member described the Book of Isaiah as a miniature bible, not only for the fact that there are sixty-six (66) chapters like the bible’s (66) sixty- six books; but as he stated, that the first 39 chapters are filled with the judgment of immoral and idolatrous men while the remaining 27 chapters declare the message of hope.
The entire service was spirit filled and was a fitting climax of the fourth anniversary week of the Hon Eugene Alastair Hamilton.
